Why I’m not voting for John McCain
Besides the fact that I am a bleeding heart liberal democrat and the thought of a 72 year old conservative republican sitting in the white house makes me shiver, there is a big reason I’m not voting for John McCan’t (my favorite name for him).
Federal funding for STEM CELL RESEARCH
He won’t even consider the fact that many deliberating diseases such as diabetes could be years ahead in research towards a cure if we could do more stem cell research. Anyone who doesn’t want to save millions of lives each year (including my life) kind of bothers me.

Hi, I found your site through the tudiabetes forums. I was doing some research on the Animas 2020/ping.
On this – I couldn’t agree with you more. Not only because of this issue but because of the healthcare plan that McCain came up with, which would leave a lot of diabetics either completely uninsured or paying incredibly high costs for our plans. Yikes!
